This year, along with the auction items, DSA is raffling 3 prizes; a painting, Kelowna Rockets hockey tickets and a sailing package. A limited number of $10 tickets will be offered for each item available Monday - Saturday, August 14 - 19th by email and at the DSA auction tables (Kelowna Yacht Club entrance foyer) Thursday - Saturday, August 16 - 18th.

- The DSA Auction ONLINE (email) bidding will be held Monday, August 14, 10:00 AM until Saturday, August 19, 7:30 PM.
- Email bids can be sent to DSAauction@shaw.ca.   Name or unique identity, item number, short item description and bid amount should be included in email (minimum $5 increments please).
- Online bids will be updated on the website throughout the day until closing August 19, 7:30 PM.
- In the event of identical bids, the earlier will be tbe accepted bid.
- Item viewing and LIVE bidding will take place in the Kelowna Yacht Club (KYC) entrance foyer Thursday, August 17, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Friday, August 18, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM and Saturday, August 19, 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
- Winners will be announced at the KYC Commodore's Cup Regatta Saturday dinner/dance shortly after bidding closes.
- Winning bidders can claim booty in the KYC foyer after bidding closes Saturday 7:30 until 9:30 PM or Sunday after racing is completed until 5:00 PM. Winners of items not picked-up at the Commodore's Cup will be contacted to arrange pickup.

35. Red Rooster 2016 Pinot Blanc and Sandhill 2014 Merlot
RED ROOSTER PINOT BLANC: Gentle treatment and whole cluster pressing was used to extract a clean, pure fruit expression. For added depth and complexity, a small portion of the wine was exposed to French oak and aged Sur Lie for 5 months. SANDHILL MERLOT: Typical smoky, spicy rubbery notes with coffee, black cherry, celery salt, and a wisp of tobacco. Dry and firm on the palate with smoky oak, vanilla, resiny, tobacco and cherry flavours. Donated Anonymously by KYC member. From 50+ years old vines; Tempranillo (95%) and Graciano (5%); aged for 24 months in new barrels. Ruby red, clean and bright. Notes of ripe red fruit on the nose over a very elegant balsamic background. The palate is soft, cool and spirited. It has a good body and the tannins are well-integrated and polished. In the aftertaste hints of very ripe red fruit with liqueur nuances reappear making it a wine with a long finish.Value = $50. Reserve $25. Current $40 Robert A
